Global Campus Guide: Help Me Get Books from RTS

This guide describes the services and resources available to students enrolled in the Global Campus of RTS

The RTS Catalog

To find books that are owned by RTS go to our library catalog located at

library.rts.edu

You should see a page like the page below. You can search by topic, title, keyword, ISBN, subject, author, etc. using the search dialoge box or you can click the "Advanced Search" button

You can narrow your search using the limiters on the left side of the page (circled in red) or you can check the availability of a book by clicking the "Available" button

You may request up to one chapter from any book. Just send the author, title and chapter you wish scanned to global.librarian@rts.edu. You can also request scans from books not owned by RTS.  Check out the "Worldcat" tab for tips on finding books not owned by RTS. There is no limit to the number of scan requests you can make. There is a limit on the number of chapters we can scan from any one book. This is because of copyright law. For information on e-books check out our libguide on that subject.
